The name Happolati is taken from the novel "Hunger" by Knut Hamsund. The novel's nameless character falls in love with a beautiful woman, Ylajali, who lived right here on St Olavsplass. Her father's name was J.A Happolati- Supposedly known for inventing an electric hymnal and transporting goods from the East. We are inspired by Asian street food and we use both Norwegian and Asian ingredients, which we process with respect for taste and origin and put them in a high end setting.
We serve 6 and 8 course menus, as well as some small dishes.
